My BOOKS
Brother Jude
2024 (intro by Pastor Daniel Webster)

Jesus’ younger, earthly half-brother, Jude, was a very real, extremely insightful person! The early church purposely placed this small epistle near the end of the New Testament, right in front of Revelation. Like a lone, remarkable sentinel, he has a message for today’s church that he is still shouting out to us.
In this book, we look at both the person and the message. The Scriptures tell us of his background, his salvation, and his wealth of understanding. His writing shows us his heart and his warnings. The little book of Jude exposes apostasy and today’s false teachers, and Jude’s four-step plan to “fight for the faith”.
We need to listen to Brother Jude. Time is short.
“I’ve taught Jude for some 50 years, and every time, I learn new, important things about him and his message that shake me – yet enthralls me. Take this journey with me and see this remarkable man’s message, discernment, and passion. He is the giver of extraordinary truth. – Ed
Heaven In Her Eyes
2022 (intro by Lauren MacKay Yodis)

The New Testament introduces to us two physically different, yet spiritually similar Christian women for our study and admiration. Who are these two women? What spiritual insights did they model for the church: women and men? What can we still learn from both?
Sit down with Pastor Ed as he carefully, truthfully, and delightfully opens the Scriptures and unfurls their lives, their stories, and the great impact they had – and can still have – on all of us, even today!

“This book was such a blessing to write. The women I report on literally thrilled my heart and my soul as I poured over the beauty of their ministries, their God-honoring hearts, and the potential positive effect and influence that they can have on all of us. What a spiritual joyride this writing promises to deliver!” – Ed

It brings me great joy and excitement to delve into their stories with you. I pray that you, like me, will be captivated by their lives – and better yet – that you, like me, will listen to and put into action, their advice. These men still have a lot to say to us today.” – Ed
Upward Obsession - The Priciples of PRY
2009 (Intro by Steve Martin, Wycliffe Associates)

Does “Christianity” confuse and frustrate you? Do you long for insight and clarity concerning an authentic walk with God? There is hope! Quit settling for mediocrity (or hypocrisy) and begin living in the crescendo, the increase, the upsurge of true Christianity!

In the pages of this book, you will find that out there somewhere – between Christ wanting us to have real life (John 10:10) and His sincere desire that we obey Him (Luke 6:46) – are the principles of PRY, waiting to be discovered, grasped, and activated. They promise to transform your heart. The Bible shows us the way – we just need to take God at His Word!

“Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”
“I can’t begin to tell you how important it was for me to put down in words my personal feelings towards what authentic, genuine ‘Christianity’ looks like. These three principles: pray, read, yield are so ignored, so misunderstood, and so neglected in today’s ‘church’ that, quite frankly, it shocks me. We’ve got to get back to really walking with God, knowing Him, communing with Him – and Upward Obsession is a serious resource for that.” – Ed
CrossTalk - 70 Soul-Provoking Renderings
2013 (into by Robert Thomason)
In today’s social climate of angst and trouble, Ed Meshler strives to live a life of clarity and hope only found in Trinity God – and for ten years, he’s written of such things in his monthly column CrossTalk (for the Crossroads Journal publication, based in the Greensboro, NC area).

Collected here are 70 of the best CrossTalk columns during the past decade. With topics as diverse as “Overtly Christian”, “TLWKUS”, “Ragamullin heart”, “Christmas Yard Art”, “Fight the darkness”, and “Thermal Christianity” – Ed leads the reader down a winding narrow pilgrim’s path that always leans on the Godhead for direction, stability, and strength.

The columns are devotional in style and will cause you to think – and to look up. Pick up this book and join Ed on an eye-opening, energized spiritual journey.
“My 10 years of writing a monthly newspaper column were filled with so many events and entities: traveling several states for two secular jobs; teaching a 110-member adult class at church; mission work; Seminary; converting into a father-in-law and then a grandparent; and becoming a full-time ordained minister. My writings in CrossTalk confirmed this constant: I am centered on Jesus Christ, His cross, and His promises. I pray that this collection of my heart’s thoughts glorifies God and assists readers to do likewise.” – Ed
Odd God
2007 (intro by Mitch McVicker)
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 55:8 (KJV)

How many times have you encountered difficult events or situations, shaken your head, and whispered, “God just doesn’t make sense”? On the surface, it certainly seems that way. He is a peculiar God, odd in many ways.
But when you dig deeper, we also find a sinless and exhilarating God. From the days of Abel through today He baffles us, teaches us, and amazes us with real life lessons from real life people.
The Christian life is an adventure – and God is anything but boring.
“My first book will always be special to me. In Odd God, I dealt with puzzling questions that seemed to question God’s intentions – or even His integrity. But, as humans, we fail to see His perspective. God is sinless, good, and unchanging. So this book is a fascinating dissection of His supposed ‘oddities’ – and a satisfying explanation of why we should always trust Him.” – Ed

Trinity God drove me to write such a concise study for kids and their parents!” – Ed
